PLUNA in troubles
From yesterday the oil company of Uruguay, ANCAP, has cut the fuel provision to PLUNA, airline of Uruguayan flag, 75% beolongs to the Group Leadgate and 25% to the Uruguayan State.
PLUNA maintains a debt of 12 million dollars by fuel concept with ANCAP and as it did not present a payment plan, the provision was cut to it.
In any case, the Directory of PLUNA has reached an agreement with Petrobras for the provision of fuel, that will take place in the destinies (Brazil and Argentina) or in Carrasco Airport in Uruguay, in order to be able to continue serving its routes.
On the other hand ANCAPs President, Raul Sendic, said in declarations to Radio Carve that if PLUNA wants to supply itself with the fuel of that Uruguayan company it will have to pay cash by the daily provision.
