EMBRAER will participate in Defendory International 2008

Embraer participates in the 15th Specialized Exhibition of Conventional Systems for National Defence on Land, Sea, and Air (Defendory International 2008,(www.DefendoryInternational.gr), October 7-11, at the Hellenikon Exhibition Center (former Athens Airport).
The biennial event is one of the world`s most important trade shows in the field of defense systems, in which Embraer is a long-standing participant.
Greece was the first country in the world to receive a Legacy 600 jet for government transportation, in 2001, and also the first country in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to operate an Embraer ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) aircraft, based on the ERJ 145 regional jet, for Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) missions. In addition to the Hellenic Air Force, the EMB 145 AEW&C is also operated by the Brazilian and Mexican Air Forces.
