Julio Alak has been appointed as General Manager of Aerolineas Argentinas, by the Argentine Government after the agreement signed with the Marsans Group for the transference of the shareholding package of the company and its subsidiary Austral.
Jaime, Secretary of Transport, emphasized that the Argentine Government ``is working to guarantee the operativity of Aerolineas Argentinas``.
In next the 60 days an exchange of information between the parts will be made of the agreement, Argentine Government and Marsans Group, to determine the value of the company and thus to determine how much is what must receive the Marsans Group by the sale of the actions. 
Aerolineas Argentinas has admitted the existence of liabilities of 890 million dollars altogether, between the two companies, of which only 220 million are indispensable.
The Argentine Government realised two successive contributions to Aerolineas Argentinas by a total of 104 million argertinian pesos  for the payment of wages and debts of fuels and spare parts.
