Cessna with great success at EBACE
Cessna Aircraft Company took an order during EBACE (European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition) for six 208B Grand Caravans, a 172 Skyhawk and 182 Skylane from Air Alliance GmbH, one of Europe`s most active Cessna Caravan dealers.
Based in Germany, Air Alliance is also an authorized service center for Cessna piston and turboprop aircraft. Air Alliance is participating in this weeks ILA aerospace exhibit at Berlin’s Schoenefeld Airport.
``Air Alliance continues its success as a leading Caravan dealer with this new order, a signal that the market in Europe for Cessna aircraft remains strong,`` said Pana Poulios, Cessna regional sales manager in Europe. ``We have increased Caravan production for 2008 based largely on international orders such as this. Our single-engine piston sales in Europe are also doing very well in 2008``.
Cessna also announced on May 20th, it had taken 24 business jet orders from Austrian charter giant JETALLIANCE. With orders placed during the first quarter, it brings year-to-date Citation orders from JETALLIANCE to 50.
The 2008 orders consist of four Citation Mustangs, seven Citation CJ2+s, 11 Citation CJ3s, three Citation CJ4s, 10 Citation XLS+s, seven Citation Sovereigns, four Citation Xs, and four Citation Columbus aircraft.
